Founders of the project

The founders combine deep expertise in robotics, AI, construction industry and supply chain management. They founded KM Robotics in 2021 to develop and manufacture bricklaying robots.

Those robots have since been successfully deployed across construction sites in Europe and the UK, through partnership with Wienerberger, a leading global construction materials manufacturer.

Štěpán Kočí (*1978)

27 years in the construction industry. Entrepreneur, real estate developer and inventor.

Received Czech Architecture Award in 2018 for his company building design and a unique concrete mixture he invented for the construction of this building.

Founder and managing director of KM Robotics, leading hardware development.

Passionate about speed: sports cars, motor yachting, and piloting private planes.

Jakub Maršík (*1982)

Software and solutions architect, dev teams leader. Graduate of Czech Technical University.

Commercially developing software and hardware since age 15, with extensive experience in industrial applications, control systems, but also AI-driven solutions, LOB apps, cloud-based stacks, networks and data analytics.

Founder of KM Robotics, leading software and safety solution development.

Passionate snowboarder. Occasionally pursues creative art projects, blending modern tech with artistic expression.

The problem

Outdoor logistics remains manual

Current autonomous solutions fail

💸 Extremely expensive

€ 50 000 – 100 000 or more per unit, inaccessible for the mass market

🏭 Indoor only

Primarily designed for warehouse halls, they fail outdoors

🔧 Costly infrastructure

Require expensive environmental modifications and long deployment times

📉 Limited scalability

Not built for quick mass deployment in industry
